"God is but Love, and therefore so am I."
Re-examination and Reflections on Lesson 151 — Friday, November 9th, 2018
Lesson 151 is titled, "All things are echoes of the Voice for God." And as much as I wanted to zoom through the reading
of the book, some things just beg for a slower reflection. Lesson 151 is one of those sections. The beginning few paragraphs
are very strong in the message that your senses, eyes, ears, nose, don't always see the total truth...
"You think your fingers touch reality, and close upon the truth. This is awareness that you understand, and think more real than what is witnessed to by the eternal Voice for God Himself."
"... You cannot judge. You merely can believe the ego's judgements all of which are false."
"... Yet you must learn to doubt their evidence will clear the way to recognize yourself, and let the Voice for God alone be Judge of what is worth of your own belief."
"He will remove all faith that you have placed in pain, disaster, suffering and loss. He gives you vision which can look beyond these grim appearances..."
"He will reinterpret all you see, and all occurances,..." "And you will see the love beyond the hate, the constancy in change, the pure in sin, and only heaven's blessing on the world. ...
"Such is your resurrection, for your life is not part of anything you see."
... "So will you see the holy face of Christ in everything, and hear in everything no sound except the echoe of God's Voice."

Next lesson is titled: The Power of Decision Is My Own - 152 — November 8th, 2018
Snippet to spark some interest:
"No one can suffer loss unless it be his own decision. No on suffers pain except his choice elects this state for him. No one can grieve nor fear nor think him sick unless these are the outcomes that he wants. And no one dies without his own consent. Nothing occurs but represents your wish, and nothing is omitted that you choose. Here is your world, complete in all details. Here is its whole reality for you. And it is only here salvation is."
... "Yet can truth have exceptions? If you have the gift of everything, can loss be real? Can pain be part of peace, or grief of joy? Can fear and sickness enter in a mind where love and perfect holiness abide? Truth must be all-inclusive, if it be the truth at all. Accept no opposites and no exceptions, for to do so is to contradict the truth entirely."
"Salvation is the recognition that the truth is true, and nothing else is true. ..."

Hitting Lesson 136 and 137 last night...— Friday, November 2nd, 2018
Last night I hit Lessons 136 and 137 in the Course In Miracles Workbook. Lesson 136 is titled, "Sickness is a defense against the truth." And lesson 137 is titled, "When I am healed I am not healed alone."
I suppose my highlights of the text do not bring forth just how well the book is written. Each sentence could practically be it's own quote; the words do have a certain ring, a certain vibration that will bring peace. Below I share just a few snippets from lesson 136:
- "The world obeys the laws that sickness serves, but healing operates apart from them."
- "... healing is his own decision to be one again, and to accept his Self with all Its parts intact and unassailed."
- "... eyes accustomed to illusions must be shown that what they look upon is false."
- "So healing, never needed by the truth, must demonstrate that sickness is not real."
- "Yet think not healing is unworthy of your function here. For anti-Christ becomes more powerful than Christ to those who dream the world is real."
- "healing is freedom. For it demonstrates that dreams will not prevail against the truth."
- "His laws replace the ones you made to hold yourself a prisoner to death. His life becomes your own, as you extend the little help He asks in freeing you from everything that ever caused you pain."
- "... let yourself be healed,..."
- "What is oposed to God does not exist, ..."
- "... illusions brought to truth."
Meditation Words for 136:
"I have forgotten what I really am, for I mistook my body for myself. Sickness is a defense against the truth. But I am not a body. And my mind cannot attack. So I can not be sick."
Meditational Words for 137:
"When I am healed I am not healed alone. And I would share my healing with the world, that sickness may be banished from the mind of God's one Son, Who is my own Self."
"When I am healed I am not healed alone. And I would bless my brothers, for I would be healed with them, as they are healed with me."
Lesson 124 - "Let me remember I am one with God."— Sunday, October 29th, 2018
"Today we will again give thanks for our identity in God. Our home is safe protection guaranteed in all we do.
Power and strength available to us in all our undertakings.
We can fail in nothing!
Everything we touch takes on a shinning light that blesses and heals.
At one with God and with the universe
we go our way rejoicing with the thought
that God himself goes
everywhere with us.
How holy are our minds! And everything, we see reflects the holiness within the mind
at one with God and with itself.
How easily do errors disappear, and death give place to everlasting life.
No thought of this but has the
power to heal all forms of suffering in
anyone, in times gone by and times as
yet to come, as easily as the ones
that walk beside them now.
Their thoughts are timeless and apart from distance as apart from time."
